Abby Dubois – Sycmore City

Sycamore resident Annie Truaguatt won the position of Secretary of State in today’s state election.

This is not just a win for Annie, but also for the residents of Sycamore. Now, we can spread the ideas of a cleaner, brighter future. This allows for Annie to influence sustainable energy sources and environmental awareness.

Annie Truaguatt stands for not only her own beliefs, but the beliefs of those around her. She stands for the people, not as a politician, but as a person.

Education will be changed to shape our current society. Mental health, personal identity, and other current-day issues will be taught in schools. Each student will feel accepted in their environment. Organic lunches will be served on a daily basis.

Since Arizona is the sunniest state of the country, sun panels will be highly encouraged as energy sources. Reusable paper towels, napkins, and bags will be used state-wide. The small changes that are made can rub off on the country, which has the possibility of creating a domino effect world wide.

Our parks will become a must-see across the globe. Increased funding will allow for better care of our parks. With Annie in office, our small city of 10,000 will strive just as a large one would.

Election results and a better future
