Girls throughout the cities have begun their campaigns for county and state positions. With posters littering our walls we see the creative side of Girls State. From posters full of stars to superheros we see girls running strong.
With frequent visitors asking to hang campaign ads in hallways, we have seen many new faces we had yet to see. It is amazing to see all the hard work girls are putting into these amazing positions.
Mayors have come up with fun challenges, some are challenging girls to do the “Jack Sparrow” run and others are asking fun questions to get to know more about each candidate.
With all the campaigns beginning, both slate committees are looking to fill the rest of their ballots. The Nationalists are short on House Representatives and are looking for girls courageous enough to take the challenge.
The Federalist are looking to fill spots for the Lobbyist, waiting for girls to sign their names on a nomination form. As we head into Primary election stay head strong and proud of your party.
