Abby Dubois – Sycamore City

Sycamore’s tourist attractions bring in new citizens and visitors, which fuels state-wide elections.

Sycamore is one of, if not the biggest, environmentally-friendly cities in the United States. They push progressive learning practices within schools and demonstrate it with future career choices.

The museums show the complex history of the city as well as current events. It is a showcase of the past, present, and future. They are made using recyclable material and showcase the ideals of the community. Solar and hydro power are used to fuel the city. The river that surrounds the town can be seen creating a reusable power source. The museums explain how each of these processes work.

The clever use of Sycamore trees scattered across the community brings tourists to Sycamore National Park. The park requires a small admission of $10, where you can hike, bike, explore, or camp. Both traditional tents and RVs are welcome among a number of campgrounds.

Rather than diving into each representative for a number of new positions within the elections, let’s talk about the information. Sycamore residents fill a number of spots for both county and state positions. Nationalist candidates are stepping up and offering to fill positions over Federalists.

Citizens of Girls State can expect to vote for federal government positions: Governor, State Secretary, Treasurer, Justices, Superintendents, and a Lobbyist. National government positions are required to be filled as well, with four senators and twelve state representatives.

Citizens of Sycamore and surrounding cities will be voting tomorrow. Be sure to register to vote under the party of your choosing and represent our prideful city.
