The results for this year’s Palo Verde City elections are in!
After a grueling election process led by our very own, wonderful Mrs. Heck, we finally reached a conclusion after about half an hour.
There were many great candidates for the position of mayor, and the competition was fierce. Each candidate displayed notable qualities and honest characteristics that more than qualified them for the role of Palo Verde’s Mayor.
The eloquence displayed in their speeches truly moved the hearts of every citizen of the best city at Girls State, Palo Verde.
Similarly, the race for the councilwomen was arguably equally as intense, with countless candidates vying for the position.
As each young lady delivered their carefully crafted speeches, the citizens of Palo Verde knew that they had a tough decision ahead of them.
After these touching speeches, the citizens cast their ballots, and the results were in. Our city mayor is none other than the amazing Lydia Parks, and our councilwomen are Kalissa Boschetti, Madison Ritchie, Ellie Craig, and Deborah Molina-Uribe.
The citizens of Palo Verde are elated with these results, and have high hopes for the future of their city with such outstanding leadership to guide them through the week.
